Biography
Melissa has extensive experience in the area of Family Law.  Prior to becoming a lawyer in 2010, she worked as a paralegal for nine years in a law office that focused primarily on Family Law.  Now she is putting all those practical years of experience to good work for her clients at Meriwether & Tharp.  She started off her legal career as a lawyer with The Law Office of Melissa S. Bowen.  She joined Meriwether & Tharp partly because she enjoyed the team approach of helping clients.  If confronted with an unusual situation, she has a group of lawyers within the firm with a combined 50 years of experience to discuss the situation to help insure that the proper strategy is implemented on the case.
